Why you need creativity techniques:
In a world full of parallel challenges, it is crucial to train new ways of thinking.
This enables you to solve complex problems, create innovative solutions and respond flexibly to change when it matters. Creativity techniques help you and your team to think outside the box and develop forward-looking ideas.

Every team can be creative!
Many people believe that creativity is like a sudden kiss from a muse – a flash of inspiration that immediately leads to a finished idea. However, it is actually about recombining existing building blocks and linking them with fresh themes, e.g. chords to a song or dance steps to a choreography.
A helpful mindset:
Produce ideas first without restrictions of logic – meaning and order follow in the next step.
Creativity means one thing above all: MAKING.
This ability grows through practicing – ideally with our bikablo Shuffle!
Trick your logic brain with the bikablo Shuffle.
From a neuroscientific point of view, the constant repetition of existing thought patterns is an automatism and, if you can no longer break out of it, a problem trance. You can free yourself from this by differentiation: If you manage to open up the neuronal network that has become stuck at one point to another network, you can continue thinking again.
Is the tool something for my team?
The bikablo Shuffle was specially designed for visualizers and anyone who wants to use a versatile tool to activate thought processes in groups. This handy tool is the perfect companion for on the go – ideal for tapping into creative sources, getting people talking to each other and integrating more ease into everyday working life.
How teams can use the bikablo Shuffle:
- Creative warm-ups:
Start meetings or workshops with a playful exercise. Let the shuffle generate an icon or a combination and ask the participants to spontaneously associate: “How does this icon fit in with today’s topic?”. - Brainstorming:
Use the Shuffle to get thought processes going. Combine icons from the KOMBINATOR mode to make unconventional connections and develop new solutions. - Storytelling:
In STORYTELLER mode, teams can develop stories together by putting the randomly generated images into a narrative structure. This promotes creative thinking and team cohesion. - Reflection and check-ins:
Use the ICONIZER mode for check-ins or reflection rounds: Each team member spontaneously associates an icon with an aspect of the current project or day. - Team building:
The Shuffle brings a playful component to teamwork, helping to break down hierarchies and promote collaboration.
The bikablo Shuffle makes it easy for teams to liven up their working day with creative impulses and strengthen collaboration and communication in the process. A tool that inspires and is fun – and delivers productive results at the same time.
THE ICONIZER
simple and easy to understand
Possible applications:
Check-In (combination exercise)
For example, start one of the following sentence beginnings and use the iconizer to be inspired by a random image to continue. The group listens and participates.
- The following picture reveals a previously unknown detail about me, namely…
- The following picture has absolutely nothing to do with me, because…
You can find more examples in the product.
One example:
The stupidest thing we could do in this situation would be …to climb into a rocket to view the earth from above.
THE COMBINATOR
somewhat more complex and the user needs more time to think about it
Possible applications:
Old topics, new perspectives
(Differentiation)
Choose a current question or challenge from your working day (= problem X).
- Problem x can best be solved if x…does y next.
- Problem x is not really a problem at all, because….
You can find more examples in the product.
One example:
Our team doesn’t communicate efficiently enough, and the best way to solve this is to no longer communicate exclusively digitally, but to sit down together and make agreements.
THE STORYTELLER
demanding and requires instructions
Possible applications:
1. strengthen team culture and find solutions
Many of the perspectives and skills currently required already exist in your team. They simply need to be recognized and developed or adapted as required.
Use the beginning of the following sentence to tell a success story with the help of the random images (problem, action, solution).
2. improve the usability of products
Usability ensures that products and systems are intuitive, efficient and user-friendly, which increases user satisfaction. Good usability saves time, reduces errors and increases user acceptance.
Design of the structure: We help person A (problem) to do C (solution) with B (action).
You can find examples in the product.
Why your team will love the bikablo Shuffle
Good cooperation pays off – because those who spin around creatively together often find the best solutions. Practice the Shuffle exercises without a goal, simply for the sake of exchange. This creates relaxed brainstorming sessions – without any pressure to perform.
A perfect start is the check-in:
The association exercise gives you a relaxed insight into the mindsets and perspectives of your colleagues. It feels as if you are looking into the creative brain of your team together – the potential center. And it is precisely this potential that is crucial: every strength that your team has to offer is needed for the complex challenges of the future.
Creativity: Indispensable for the working world of the future
Creativity remains one of the most important skills for the future, because while AI can do more and more, it is still limited when it comes to innovation. Working creatively and precisely at the same time? It’s possible – with training and a clear sense of when which behavior is required.
Perhaps you know the term ambidexterity (two-handedness)?
Companies must simultaneously manage existing processes and develop new ones. Switching between these modes is achieved through targeted interruptions and mental gymnastics – a workout for the mind!
