bikablo Online Collections – good to know

Is an Online Collection an e-book?

Our Online Collections and the Online Collection Finder are not e-books, but digital learning products with some special additional features. They contain all the images from the printed Visual Dictionary with the same name, as well as instructional videos.

An online collection is also not a clip art collection from which you can download images to external programs. As in the visual dictionaries, the tagged images are designed as templates and sources of inspiration for your own drawings.

What is the Online Collection Finder?

The Online Collection Finder contains the full versions of all four online collections with over 1,300 icons, figures, key images, templates, and step-by-step videos.
In addition, the AI search suggests visualizations from the entire image database for every search term in every language.

How can I search for images?

Each online collection has a linked index in German and English. Clicking on an entry takes you to a page where you can find the corresponding image.
The Online Collection Finder also offers a convenient AI search function, allowing you to enter any terms and longer search texts in any language.

Do I need a user account?

The Online Collections and the Online Collection Finder are available in our web store and in the in-app store of the bikablo app. We use the ablefy platform for this.
When you make a purchase, you create a bikablo user account with a password and gain access to your customer area. There you can use these digital products immediately.
If you already have a bikablo user account, the digital products will be automatically added to your products.
Be careful not to accidentally create a second account with a different email address.

On which devices does it work?

You can use your bikablo products device-independently in the web browser and the bikablo App (Android and iOS, see below). As desktop browser we recommend Firefox or Google Chrome.
In the bikablo App you have the online collection available with one click. The navigation is optimized for mobile devices and especially clearer on smartphones.

Our images, videos, training concepts, and other content are subject to copyright. Learn more about it here. Our terms and conditions and privacy policy can be found in the footer below.
Our digital products only work on one device at a time. Switching to another device can take up to 5 minutes.
In the bikablo app, you can download individual lessons to your device for offline use. “Download” does not mean that you can save individual images from it to another location on your device.
Our digital products are permanently available. Strategic or technical reasons may lead us to discontinue offering them on the ablefy platform at some point. In any case, we guarantee a period of 24 months from purchase, as long as ablefy makes this technically possible. You can find out more in our terms and conditions in the footer.

The Visual Dictionaries and Learning Tools from bikablo have been standard and “must-haves” in the visualization community for almost two decades. Thousands of visualizers have taken their first steps with them. And a whole generation of graphic recorders, visual facilitators and visual storytellers use them as a source and inspiration for apt visual ideas.
